Count the owls
Magnetic and fun educational counting game to practice counting from 1 to 5 by grouping owl babies around their mother. The child will be able to manipulate and use the different representations of numbers: numbers, hands and the arrangement of stars on the mother's stomach.
Available in French, English, Spanish, and German.
On each of the 5 trays, the owl babies gather around their mother. The child will place the babies by using the representation of the number requested, indicated by the stars on their mother's belly, which are also in equal number in the sky around them.
The adult can guide the child in finding counting strategies: count the stars and then count the babies, show each star and place a baby, count with the fingers, and of course place the babies in the same arrangement as the stars to visually check if it is the same.
Construct the notion of quantity by understanding that any number is obtained by adding 1 to the previous number.
